UiPath partners with Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC)


 Bengaluru/Vijayawada, September 07, 2020: UiPath, the leading enterprise Robotic Process Automation (RPA) software company, has partnered with Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC), as part of their Academic Alliance Program. The Program is designed to bridge the growing skill requirements and build RPA resiliency in more than 50,000 students, in the next one year.

Studies by Gartner indicate that RPA continues to grow as the tactical solution to improve operational efficiency, particularly during the pandemic and post recovery. In line with this, APSSDC will act as the regional center for all UiPath Academic Alliance activities in the state of Andhra Pradesh. To start off, UiPath will onboard 100 APSSDC institutes. These institutions will receive curriculum, content, learning materials, educator enablement sessions and software tools, to provide training to their students.

Speaking about the significance of the partnership, Dr. Arja Srikanth, IRTS, MD & CEO, APSSDC adds, “As the demand for RPA skills are rising, there is a need to invest in large scale education enablement programs. Our affiliation with UiPath will create a community of qualified educators, who are capable of building an ecosystem for students with right digital skills.”

Educators and students can also avail 50% discount on UiPath certified professional global certifications. APSSDC shall also identify colleges and universities to assess and explore the possibility of adding RPA as part of university programs. APSSDC and UiPath shall also co-host events, webinars and virtual sessions for educator, students, and higher-education stakeholders. These sessions will be designed to drive RPA literacy and provide insights on robot for every student and automation-ready campus initiatives.
